Hi! I’m Kayla Kantrowitz, also known as “The Sheitel Surgeon”. I offer a collection of high quality wigs and provide expert wig repair services. I work with clients from across the United States and around the world.
My work with wigs began nearly a decade ago as a stylist. Sometimes, my clients would bring me wigs for styling that desperately needed repair.
With a lack of highly skilled repairists available, I decided to fill that void. I trained with an international master wig technician. My educational background at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City was also foundational in helping me perfect my craft. I am meticulous, detail-oriented, and I bring “hopeless” wigs back to life.
- After years of styling and repairing wigs, I developed a strong understanding of what makes a wig truly beautiful and built to last. That experience led me to create my own line of 100% human hair wigs with a focus on quality, longevity, and natural beauty. Today, I work in both wig repair and wig creation, bringing the same level of care and precision to each.
